Flooding in 80,000 SQF Building

The flooding in this building was caused by a rain storm.

How does a large commercial building such as this one become flooded. Notice the scaffolding on side being uses to remove the drywall from the walls. That is because the water found its way down the walls and into the building. There was a seem along this wall that finally gave out during the storm allowing all the water to come into the building.

Removing the water was the first priority. The second was to remove the drywall because it was soaking wet and losing its structural integrity. The facility manger was grateful he called SERVPRO of Highlands Ranch / NW Douglas County.
